At MFHB, our aim is to give you the best experience. Please ensure you have read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using our services. They explain what you can expect from us and the conditions you agree to when placing an order.

1. Becoming a Customer

1.1 To place an order, you must be over 18 years of age, require delivery within our service area, and have a valid debit or credit card in your name.
1.2 We reserve the right to decline any order or suspend your account at our discretion.
1.3 These Terms and Conditions apply when you place an order with us.

2. Your Account

2.1 You may create an online account to make ordering easier. You will receive a username and password for future access.
2.2 You are responsible for all activity on your account. Keep your login details secure and notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized use.
2.3 You must ensure all information provided is accurate and up to date.
2.4 Please review our Privacy Policy for details on how we handle your information.

3. Contract

3.1 After placing an order, you will receive an email confirmation listing your items, prices, and delivery details. This is not acceptance of the order. A contract is formed only once goods are delivered.
3.2 If incorrect email or order details are provided, you are responsible for contacting us to correct them. We are not liable for incorrect information or spam filtering issues.

4. Order Amendments and Cancellation

4.1 Orders may be amended or cancelled up to 72 hours before delivery, as stated in your confirmation email.
4.2 Cancellations within 72 hours of delivery may be charged in full due to advance procurement of items.
4.3 Cancellation requests must be submitted via email or the Contact Us page before the 72-hour cutoff.
4.4 If items are unavailable, we will offer a replacement (with your approval), a refund, or a voucher within two working days.

5. Pricing and Delivery Charges

5.1 Prices shown at checkout include applicable taxes and delivery charges unless stated otherwise.
5.2 Orders below the free delivery threshold incur a £7.95 delivery charge.
5.3 Additional items added to an order will be charged at current prices, and delivery fees adjusted accordingly.
5.4 Payment is taken in full at the time of ordering.
5.5 Some items are priced by weight. Actual weights may vary by ±10% due to product nature and preparation.

6. Custom Delivery Service

6.1 We offer customized delivery options including specific days, time windows, weekends, and international deliveries. Contact us to arrange.

7. Delivery

7.1 We aim to deliver within three working days, subject to product availability.
7.2 Collection from our Reading office may be arranged upon request.
7.3 If no one is available at the delivery address, we may leave the order at a safe place or secondary address provided.
7.4 Deliveries are made “no signature required.” We are not responsible for loss, theft, or damage after delivery is completed.
7.5 Refused or unaccepted deliveries are not eligible for free replacement.
7.6 International shipping is available, but risk transfers to the customer upon dispatch. Delivery charges vary by destination.
7.7 Deliveries to Ireland and Scottish Highlands may require confirmation and additional charges.
7.8 We are not liable for delays caused by circumstances beyond our control (e.g. extreme weather). Liability is limited to the order value and delivery cost.

8. Complaints and Dissatisfaction

8.1 Please inspect goods upon delivery and report any issues promptly via our Contact Us form, including photos where possible.
8.2 Service complaints are typically responded to within one working day.
8.3 Quality complaints are reviewed by our quality control team. Please retain items for inspection.
8.4 Returns are not accepted for perishable goods, but refunds or vouchers may be issued at our discretion within three working days.

9. Liability

9.1 We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.
9.2 Nothing limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence or breach of law.
9.3 Products may contain allergens such as nuts. It is your responsibility to check product information.
9.4 Products are sold for consumer use only; we are not liable for business-related losses.
9.5 We are not responsible once goods are delivered to the specified address or safe place.
9.6 Proper refrigeration after delivery is the customer’s responsibility.
9.7 Due to artisan preparation, weights may vary and exact weights cannot be guaranteed.

10. General Terms

10.1 These Terms represent the full agreement between us.
10.2 We are not liable for delays caused by events beyond our control.
10.3 We may update website content and policies at any time, but changes do not affect confirmed orders.
10.4 Product descriptions and images are as accurate as possible, but variations may occur.
10.5 These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
